Stunning Parquet!!!

Kite Flooring installed a light Oak Parquet in our living room, dining room and hallway and it’s not only stunning but super hard wearing which was a big factor with kids, bikes and a dog… The whole process from the quoting and choosing the right floor/finish to the installation was seamless and easy. The fitting team were excellent, arrived and finished when they said they would and really seemed to care about not only doing a great job but also doing it in a clean, neat and tidy way. As expected with a period property some things came up when it was time to install, any issues were dealt with in a super constructive way. Would highly recommend.

Key Points

  • Terraced Victorian Houses, often have uneven subfloors. This requires a levelling strategy. when fitting patterned floors like Herringbone or Chevron.
  • This floor has two coats of invisible oil on it. The floor is brushed between coats, meaning the oil sits deep within the wood structure. This means it will perform well with dogs, toddles etc.
