Belgiqa
At Kite, we work with a range of manufacturers, each with its strengths, but for many of our Trade Partners, we work with Belgiqa.
Kite has partnered with Belgiqa since our inception and is proud to be a flagship partner of theirs in the UK. Belgiqa is unique in the world of flooring, combining a location in Belgium (just 3 hours from London), with scale, expertise and control. For the vast majority of floors we produce together, the entire production process is controlled within a 5-square-mile area, giving complete control and confidence in the production process. The location also means Kite plays an active role at every step of the process (it's not uncommon for our clients to visit the factory in Belgium).
Their flooring possibilities are limitless, with 1,000,000s of combinations, from width, to length, to grade, to oil, to wood species. For retail customers, we curate these options, but for professional clients, or those looking for a truly unique floor, we offer their complete service.

To the right is a floor recently specified for a project in the Cotswolds. These floors are made from Reclaimed Train wagons, spliced onto an engineered plank.
"We used Kite to supply and fit our new floors at our home in Hampstead. We had a specific finish we were looking for, and we also wanted that finish in a Herringbone and on a wide 22cm board. What made it even more challenging was we needed it quickly to coordinate with our building project. After journeying around pretty much every flooring shop in North London, we hadn’t found our floor. Fortunately, we were introduced to Kite, who got our brief, created a bespoke sample and then delivered within our timeframe. Fitting wise the guys were extremely efficient and experienced, especially the team leader Robbie. We have already recommended them to our friends."
