Our best-selling straight wood floor.

190mm wide oak planks with two coats of Ciranova oil (basically the BMW of wood oils), brushed between coats so the oil sits deep in the wood. The oil is the difference between this and cheaper online floors. Prices start from £66 per m² for Lewis Lacquered, with our oiled Lewis Rustic at £74 per m². When you factor in oil quality, we’re pretty confident these are some of the best value wood floors in the UK.

Whisper it… the floors that kill vinyl.

For anyone worried a wood floor won’t cope. Finished with matt, commercial-grade lacquers, the same class used in high-traffic spaces like department stores, so they handle everything life throws at them (literally…). Fully FSC certified, with low VOC emissions.

Herringbone and chevron, off the shelf.

This is where we keep our patterned floors, in medium or large sizes. Matt, family-proof finishes, many in clean grades so the pattern stands out, and often in stock or made on a 3 to 4 week lead time. All of them are regularly fitted by Kite.

Made to order, in more unusual colours.

Stained with a reactive oil before the oil topcoat, so you get more consistency of colour, and colours like our Light Scandi Silvia, Grey or Black. Completely made to order: you specify the shape, thickness, width and grade. It costs more than Newington because the stains take longer to dry and every part of the floor is made in Europe. People are simply drawn to them. What makes them different is how the grain pops in a different colour. All made to order, so you can have any shape, width or thickness. From £90 per m² for rustic planks.

Reclaimed looks, without the reclaimed hassle.

Heavily brushed, cross sawn, stained and distressed, so you get a new floor that looks like it’s been around for hundreds of years, and is far more affordable and available than a genuine reclaimed floor. £108 per m².

If you think of laminate, the last word you think of is “premium”. But that’s exactly what ours are: super strong, water resistant, and matt and brushed so they’re incredibly realistic. They blow vinyl and cheap wood at similar prices out of the water. Order samples and buy online.
