The Newington Range – This is our best selling straight wood floor option. It combines 190mm wide Oak planks with two coats of Ciranova Oil (basically the BMW of wood oils). The oil is the difference between this and cheaper online floors. The floor is brushed between coats of oil so the oil sits deep within the wood structure offering maximum protection. It’s a straightforward process to make our Newington range so pricing starts from £78 per m², which is our Lewis finish. Some of these floors we sell directly online others we make to order. When you factor in oil quality, we’re pretty confident these floors are some of the best value wood floors in the UK market today.
The Newington Plus Range – Commercial Grade Lacquers, that are super matt. Sustainable production. We introduced these floors for clients who were worried about whether a wood floor would work in their home. These floors are finished with matt, commercial grade lacquers, equivalent to high-traffic areas like department stores. They are designed to handle everything life can throw at them (literally…). Whisper it… but these are the floors that will kill vinyl. They are also fully FSC certified, and have low VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions. Order some samples and test the strength of these floors!
The Clissold Range – This range is stained with a reactive oil before the application of the oil topcoat. This means you get more consistency of colour than our Newington Range. It also means you can achieve more unusual colours such as our Light Scandi Silvia floor or our Grey or Black floors. This floor is completely made to order so you can specify the shape, thickness, width and grade (so how many knots). These floors are more expensive than our Newington Range because i) the stains take longer to dry and 2) every aspect of this floor is made in Europe giving us more flexibility on widths. Pricing starts from £90 per m² for Mixed Grades.
The Kent Range – This is where we keep our off-the-shelf patterned floors, such as Chevron and Herringbone. Some of these floors are finished in Belgium, others in different parts of the world. All of them are regularly fitted by Kite. Pricing starts from £72 per m².
The Epping Range – Our Epping Range are our magnet floors; people are simply drawn to them. What makes them different is how the grains pop in a different colour. These floors are all made to order, which means you can have any shape, width or thickness. Prices start from £90 per m2 for rustic planks.
The Highbury Range – Here we keep our reclaimed effect floors. These floors are heavy brushed, cross sawed, stained, distressed and more. The effect is you have a new floor, that looks like it’s been around for 100s of years and is significantly more affordable and available than a genuine reclaimed floor. These floors are priced at £108 per m².
Premium Laminate – If you think of Laminate, the last word you think of is “Premium”. But that is exactly what our Laminates are. Premium Laminates don’t really get sold in the UK, as customers normally go with a vinyl or a cheap wood product. However, the performance of these high spec Laminates blows those floors at similar price points out the water. Our Laminates are super strong, water resistant and have a matt, brushed finish making them incredibly realistic. You can order samples and purchase this floor through us online. Please, please do not buy a cheap wood floor. Buy a premium laminate instead.
Bespoke Floors – For the majority of customers, our floor ranges will deal with their requirements. However, we’re also aware that sometimes clients need something bespoke; whether it’s a flooring picture you’ve fallen in love with, or we need to try and match an existing floor. This is when you need our bespoke service. Our Bespoke floors are made by our partner Belgiqa.
