Supply of Prime Grade Chevron

Working in partnership with Up Architects, Kite was commissioned to source a clean-grade, engineered oak Chevron for a project in Notting Hill.

This floor is our Lewis Chevron, and is protected by two coats of invisible UV oil from Ciranova (the BMW of wood oils). This makes it fine for busy family life, and easy to maintain. The floor is also slightly brushed, which causes the light to reflect off at different angles, bringing out the geometric pattern. This floor is a “clean grade”, so has very few knots.

Chevron’s are a statement floor, and work well in long rooms, where you want the floor to flow through the property. From a fitting perspective, billiard flat subfloors as essential, to ensure the angles don’t start misaligning. Well milled product, is also essential for the perfect Chevron.
