BY RANGE
WatchHouse take their spaces as seriously as their coffee. Their interior designer, Deidra Hodgson, asked us to floor their head office and four warehouse apartments on Tanner Street, London Bridge.
We supplied and fitted 150m² of reclaimed-effect engineered oak from our Highbury Range across three floors: open cracks, a textured surface, rough filled knots and high-quality Belgian oils. All the character of reclaimed boards, none of the gamble.
Where the floor meets the old brick, we used cork expansion strips instead of skirting, so the brick stays on show. We clad all 33 steps with textured nosings, made slightly wider than standard to suit the chunky warehouse stairs, and made a curved oak nosing for the office’s spiral staircase, shaped on site to follow the line of the stairwell.
