Our High-performance underlay is designed for fitting Laminate and our wood floors on a floated basis.

It is a dense, rubber product delivering sound-proofing of up to 26dB.

This product is sold in rolls of 8m².

Why we like it?

  • This is the best quality underlay we do. It’s a super, dense heavyweight rubber product that reduces sound transfer by up to 26dB.
  • It’s suitable for both our laminate and engineered floors, when fitted on a floated basis.
  • It has a low tog rating (heat transfers through it), so is compatible with underfloor heating.
  • Has an inbuilt vapour barrier, so can supress moisture.
  • Roll size is 8m², meaning you do not have to over order, as normally the case with 10m² or 15m² rolls.

Why you should look elsewhere?

  • This product is suitable for when sound proofing matters. Where it doesn’t a cheaper, thinner product can be used.
  • This product is only suitable for floated floors. If you are gluing floors, and need an underlay, it can get technical. Contact us for information on this.

Ordering Process

Our floors are either...

  • "Stocked" in which case they are available to purchase on line, and can be delivered within 3 to 4 working days.
  • "Variable Stocked" where sometimes we have access to them quickly, other times we have to wait. Contact us for availability.
  • "Made to Order" which are available on a 5 to 7 week lead time, depending on the finish. We will confirm the exact delivery time after an order has been placed.

For all our floors, once they have been paid for, we will store them for free prior to them being required onsite. We only require 48 hours to arrange a delivery.
