Natural Oak Premium Laminate Flooring – £36 per m²

£55.80 per pack (1.55 per m²)

Introducing our Natural Oak Laminate floor. This is one of our most versatile and bet-value flooring choices.

Why? It’s unbelievably hard wearing with an AC6 level of durability (think seriously strong…), its beautifully matt and textured, and its stable as its 12mm thick (a standard laminate is 8mm).

What makes it even better is its sustainable with the highest environmental accreditations possible.

And the best bit? It’s half the price of our engineered oak flooring, so a great option if you want a very hard wearing floor, for less money. You’ll also save on fitting costs.

This floor is a premium laminate floor and its very rare in the UK. Why? Because almost all retailers think customers will buy a cheap wood floor rather than a premium laminate. At Kite, we know it’s a lot smarter to buy high quality laminate; you’ll have a cost-effective, worry free, beautiful floor that will last a lifetime.

Description

Why we like it?

  • We believe our Laminate flooring is simply the best in the market. There is a noticeable difference in quality between our Laminates and other products on the market.
  • Most flooring retailers don’t believe consumers will pay for a premium laminate product and instead will opt for a cheaper wood option. With cheap wood floors you can have problems, such as with oil quality, but a good quality laminate will last a lifetime.
  • Unbelievably strong (Our product is AC6, which makes it almost indestructable). You can learn more about Laminate durability rating here.
  • Stable – Our laminates are 12mm thick. This is thicker than a standard 8mm product, which gives more stability, especially on uneven subfloors.
  • Beautiful – All our laminates are brushed (so have texture), and have a matt finish. We don’t sell shiny, cheap laminates. We look at floors all day and still sometimes struggle to tell the difference between them and our engineered wood floors
  • They are over half the price of a wood floor. You also save on fitting costs.
  • In terms of widths, we mainly sell them in 194mm widths, but 271mm widths are also available.
  • Seeing is believing, so order samples today.
  • Our natural finish is a mid-tone colour that looks good in any property. It also provides a warmer feel, compared to our lighter floors.

Why you should look elsewhere?

  • Whilst our Laminates are great, they don’t have the depth of colour of a wood floor. They also have a different feel to a wood floor that you cannot recreate in a man made product. We do, however, think they are more realistic than vinyl options.
  • Laminates are fitted on a floated basis – There is more than one way to fit a floor. This means their performance will only be as good as the subfloor. Like any floated floor, the tolerance is 3mm deviation across a 2m level. If you have more deviation than this, you may get bounce or creaks. This challenge is minimised by using a thicker laminate (our product is 12mm) and also using a good quality underlay (speak to us for advice).
  • This product is only available in plank, not Herringbone or Chevron. There are patterned laminate products available on the market, however, we have found that as they are fitted on a floated basis, even with level subfloors, you can still have movement. As a result we don’t sell them.
